Meet the Artist
Hi, I'm Petra.
I'm the artist behind Wild Ridge Studio, where hiking trails, native plants, and quiet moments outdoors become illustrations, surface pattern collections, and nature-inspired paper goods.
Originally from Germany and now living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, I find inspiration on the trail, in changing seasons, and in the small details that are easy to overlook, from a single feather along the path to the first mountain laurel blooms of spring.
Every collection begins with observation, sketchbook studies, and a love for the natural world. My hope is that each piece brings a little of that wonder into your home and encourages you to slow down and notice what's around you.
